Cora: Journal & Calendar
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Cora: Journal & Calendar handles information. For privacy, support or deletion requests, contact contact@belgekasam.site.
1. Personal records on your device
Cora stores the information you enter on your device: optional profile details and preferences, period dates, symptoms, mood, journal notes, water amounts in millilitres, a personal water goal, optional weight, legacy questionnaire answers and session history. These inputs support personal record keeping and calendar estimates. General movement and rest sessions are chosen by the user by duration and activity, not prescribed from symptoms or health goals. Journal text is not used to diagnose pregnancy or measure hormone levels. Core personal records do not require an email account.
Cora does not automatically upload these health records for purchase verification or attach them to feedback. Cora does not sell health records or add their contents to advertising requests. Android builds may include the Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) SDK; ad delivery is controlled separately as described below.
2. Purchases through Google Play
Google Play processes Android payments and subscriptions. Cora uses Google Play Billing on your device to query purchases for the signed-in Play account and checks the purchase signature using this app’s public licensing key. Product identifiers, signed purchase information and purchase tokens are processed on the device and by Google Play. Cora does not send them to a Cora subscription verification server. Payment card details are handled by Google, not entered into Cora. Journal and health records are not included in billing requests.
Cora stores a local access status and last-check time. Offline PRO access is cached for up to 24 hours after a successful Play check; this is not the subscription’s renewal or expiry date. Reconnect to Google Play to refresh access. Google Play shows the actual subscription terms, renewal and cancellation information. Restoring purchases uses the Play account on the device; it does not transfer your journal or health records.
3. Feedback you choose to send
The feedback form prepares an email in your chosen email app. You review and send it yourself; opening a draft does not send it. The category, subject, message, selected sentiment, language and optional contact email you include are processed by your email provider and the support inbox. Your health history is not attached. Avoid adding sensitive information you do not want to share. Support emails are kept in the receiving mailbox until deleted; contact contact@belgekasam.site for deletion requests.
4. Optional sharing and exported files
JSON backups and PDF exports are created when you request them. You choose where to save or share them. Anyone you share a file with can keep a copy. Cora does not automatically upload your backups. JSON backups include saved water amounts, the water goal and optional weight. A weight-based goal is only an approximate planning aid, not a measurement of your medical fluid needs. App lock restricts app access but does not encrypt exported files.
This local version does not provide server-based partner sharing. If you choose to share an exported file, your selected app or provider handles delivery.
5. Notifications, widgets and permissions
If you enable phone motion, the device motion sensor animates the water illustration. Sensor readings are processed temporarily on the device; they are not saved, included in backups or sent to a server. You can turn this feature off. Sensor listening stops while the app is in the background or the water view is not visible.
Notification permission is optional and is used for local water, journal, calendar and plan reminders. When enabled, water reminders repeat every two hours between your selected daily start and end times, stop for the day when your recorded goal is reached, and resume the next day. Android may delay delivery. A home-screen widget may show a summary of saved information. Consider whether others can see your screen. Cora does not request contacts, microphone or location access for these features. Notification visibility and permission can be controlled in Android settings.
6. Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in Profile, clear the app’s storage through Android, or uninstall the app. Clearing only the cache is different from deleting app data. Backups, exported reports, recipient copies and support emails must be deleted separately. Deleting local records does not cancel your Google Play subscription or erase store purchase records.
Cora does not maintain a subscription or device-account database for this local version. Google manages its own transaction records under its policies. Support emails remain in the support mailbox until deleted; resetting the app does not delete them. Contact the address above for access, correction or deletion requests. We may need information to locate your message and verify ownership.
7. Security and service providers
Device access controls help protect local records; no storage or transmission method is completely risk-free. App lock does not encrypt exported files. Google Play and your chosen email or file-sharing providers process information needed for the actions described above and may process it outside your country. See Google’s Privacy Policy for Google services. The local version uses no Cora-hosted billing, support-form or partner-sharing server.
Advertising in ad-supported Android builds
When ad delivery is enabled, free users may be offered an optional short, full-screen Google AdMob ad after a completed record. There is no timer that opens ads during writing, calendar selection, water entry, exercise or onboarding. An ad offer requires at least five minutes of active app use and three distinct successful record completions. At least two minutes separate ad displays, with at most three displays per app session. PRO and its free trial have no ads. A saved record remains saved whether an ad is skipped, unavailable or fails.
Ad requests are configured as non-personalized and include no journal text, period dates, pregnancy dates, symptoms, mood, weight, water or session content, health-based keywords, content URLs or publisher-supplied user identifiers. This does not mean that advertising is data-free. Google’s SDK may collect and share IP address (which may indicate approximate location), ad interactions, diagnostic information and app/device identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Android advertising ID permission is removed from this build; other identifiers may still be processed. Data is encrypted in transit. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google advertising information.
Where required, Google’s User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices before requesting live ads. A required ad privacy choices entry appears in Profile. Choices can be reopened there; requests are made only when the platform permits them. Declining a consent option is not a reason to delete your records or block core record keeping. When advertising is disabled, the app does not initialize AdMob or request ads. Developer tests use Google sample ads and do not earn revenue.
8. Your choices and contact
You can choose what to enter, edit or delete local records, decline notifications, refrain from optional sharing and stop using the app. Depending on your location, applicable privacy rights may include access, correction and deletion. Send privacy requests to contact@belgekasam.site. Do not send payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary medical documents.
9. Health information and changes
Cora is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Period calendar dates are estimates based on entered records and must not be used for contraception. The app does not provide pregnancy tracking or clinical assessments.
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised update date.
